Yes, interest sparked old interests in the once 'dead' fantasy trilogy Tolkien had written. It is a GREAT work of fiction and literature, one of the last in the world today. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis were good friends in the time of wars and wrote novels of SYMBOLISM in fantasy about the war. Gandalf and elves, orcs, and even dwarves, in that image, were CREATED by Tolkien. Telling P Jackson to do fucking research on elves before 'writing' LotR is STUPID. Do you even know Tolkien wrote it before your mommy even existed? Heres another good point, Blizzard, the great game developers they are, ADMITTED and will STILL admit to modeling orcs AFTER LotR orcs. Since, like I said, Tolkien created them in that image all on his own before technology allowed your stupid opinions, which are backed up by nothing, were ever created.
