Former "Melrose Place" star Laura Leighton has joined the cast of "Daniel's Daughter," a Hallmark Channel movie set for a January premiere.
Leighton plays a successful New York magazine editor who reluctantly leaves her job and wedding planning to spread the ashes of her estranged father. She learns that there might have been more to her father than she believed and that there may be more for her in life than what she thought she wanted.
