Journeyman star Moon Bloodgood is the latest the join the cast of Terminator 4 (remember it's no longer titled Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins?). She joins as the lead female character alongside of Christian Bale as John Connor, Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese and Sam Worthington. This puts an end to those rumors that hit the internet last week that claimed that Terminator 4 was being shut down. Not sure what to say about this - Bloodgood seems like an acceptable choice for the female lead.
The only information we have on her character is that she will play "a no-nonsense and battle-hardened member of the resistance." I really can't wait to see how this sequel is shaping up - I hope we start to hear some early buzz from the set soon enough because it sounds like Warner Brothers is trying to turn this into something fairly incredible. Terminator 4 is being directed by McG (Charlie's Angels, We Are Marshall) and is currently set for release next summer on May 22nd, 2009.
